Our Story
Great food should feel personal. It should be made with care, shared with pride, and remembered long after the meal is over.
Mark & Jeanne’s Sweet Red Pepper Relish began more than 60 years ago in a family kitchen, where Aunt Jeanne’s recipe became a favorite not because it was fancy, but because it brought people back for one more bite.
From summer cookouts to holiday tables, this sweet-and-tangy relish became the jar everyone looked for—the one that belonged on burgers, appetizers, sandwiches, and anything that needed a little spark.
Today, every batch is still handcrafted in Illinois with the same promise that made the original recipe special: quality over quantity, careful preparation, and food made with heart—with a dash of pizzazz.
We have refined our process for consistency and food safety, but the heart of the recipe has never changed. Every jar is prepared with respect for the family tradition that started it all.

Ingredients include Sweet red bell peppers, distilled white vinegar (5% acidity), sweet onions, granulated sugar, sea salt, and mustard seed. Our heat varieties also include red jalapeños, red habaneros, and/or ghost pepper powder, depending on the product.
